Winnie The Pooh

Aaron is a big Winnie the Pooh fan, he often says "Oh bobber", but recently he's started saying "Stuff and Fluff, help Christober Wobin". It so cracks me up. He's got the stuff and fluff saying from a dvd where Pooh is doing his "stoutness" exercises (I like that!) in front of the mirror (don't like that idea!) and he splits his seam at the back and he goes "stuff and fluff". Then of course doing stoutness exercises puts Pooh in the mood for food, but when he goes to the cupboard there's no honey so he goes to Rabbit's (because Rabbit uses simple words Pooh understands like "Hello Pooh, would you like some lunch" and "help yourself"!) and you know the story - eats everything Rabbit has and gets stuck going out his doorway. That's where the "Help Christober Wobin" comes in. :-)

Mmm.. stoutness exercises.

I like the bit in the book where Rabbit offers condensed milk and honey with Pooh's bread, and Pooh asks for both. But says don't worry about the bread so as not to appear greedy.

"Help yourself with Rabbit" is a saying in the Dawson (and Dugmore) households.

Mum had a record of AA Milne with the Classic Pooh stories, poems and songs. Sure wish we could find it on CD.
