Kinda Sweet Child's Play Kit
1st one is Aaron reading "the Lion King" to Maddison (she was 16 days old!).
This pic of Maddison was taken early August and I printed the photo in sepia to tone in with the papers.
In the kit there's a sheet of tags, I have lots left and will probably make more cards from them. Here's one I made. (Good job I have lots of nephews!)
All Materials from Kinda Sweet Child's Play kit except:
1st LO - Bazzill cardstock, Ranger Distress ink Tea Dye, double sided foam tape, circle punch.
2nd LO - Bazzill cardstock, Ranger Distress ink Tea Dye, Fiskars Threading Water Punch.
Card - Bazzill & Jennnifer Birch cardstock, ribbon, Ranger Distress ink Faded Jeans.
Saturday
Not much happening round here today. Had a late night (went to a mall for tea and had another look at shelving at Ikea), so had a bit of a sleep in this morning. :-)
So here's some pics of the kids. Maddison "reading" and strutting her stuff with Aaron's woollen hat on! (Pic a bit blurry sorry she was moving too fast!). She loves hats as much as shoes, but doesn't keep them on very long when they are sun hats and she's in the sun!!
Today Lyndon was changing a light bulb in computer room and Aaron said to him "just a minute Daddy, I get my drill"!!! So he comes back with his Bob the Builder hat on and his drill. So funny. Love the concentration on his face while he's "drilling". hehehe (Doesn't understand the difference between a drill bit and a saw bit at the moment hehehe)

Thursday I decided to have a bit of a tidy up in my craft space. You can't tell that I did actually. It's a pigsty still. But I think it is a little bit better. Anyway I bought this little tin at Scrap-n-Crop last Saturday and decided to alcohol ink it. It fits my ATC collection in it (at the moment!!). Pretty cool. Not sure if I am going to decorate it with other things or leave it like that. (Have to have a think about it.)

Things that made me smile this morning ...
Maddison sleeping through till 6.45am, but I fed her and put her back down and she slept till 8.50am :-) (They had a late night - in bed around 10.15pm, so that's why I am so happy they slept really well.)
Lyndon telling me to get out of bed at quarter past 7! (This makes me laugh because 99% of the time it's me telling him to get out of bed!! I guess when he feels he has the chance to say it he makes the most of it!)
Maddison's vocab is growing all the time - she can say "sshhhss" (shoes), Dadda, Mummma, ohh owwww, and if you say she's a good girl she claps her hands heheehe. She has a word for Aaron as well, but not sure if I can spell it!
Aaron singing at the top of his lungs "itsy bitsy spider".
Maddison sitting down "reading" a animal board book.
Aaron eating his breakfast without any fuss.
Maddison coming up for a big cuddle with very smelly nappies (reason this makes me smile is it happens every time!! So typical.)
And on that note I have a job to do, so will finish here :-)

Woo Hoot
I truly can't believe it's Wednesday again! This is gonna be a real quick woo hoot because it's late (fell asleep on Aaron's bed!).
So ... Woo Hoot for Lyndon being home all week, and next :-) (Extra Big Woo Hoot for next week because there's 2 days public holidays - Wed, Thurs - and he's hoping to have Friday off as annual leave). Aaron has school holidays for the next 2 weeks, but not sure if I am going to woo hoot about that!!! LOL
Woo Hoot we all went to the mtg tonight. Maddison had another sleep, put her down about half past three and Aaron went to bed after he came home from school. We woke him at 7pm and I fed him his tea in the car on the way :-)
Woo Hoot I got some scrapping goodies in the mail - the next kit from Kinda Sweet. Looking forward to playing with this one!! :-)
Also got some mail from Mum with stuff in it from Grandad's funeral, so hoping to have some time tomorrow to sit and go through that.
Woo Hoot ... me and the kids are having an extra week in NZ when we are there on holiday :-)
Okay, better get to bed - tomorrows going to be busy as usual.

A couple of LO's
Angels - yeah right!! Well that's why I go by the name Wishful Thinking I suppose! LOL Can you tell that I didn't have any chipboard L's left? Had to improvise with a 7. After I did it I showed Lyndon and I said can you tell and he said "Yes, of course I can"!! Huh, I thought I was being rather clever! :-} It's a pretty simple LO as the paper is really pretty, has glittery stars on it and I didn't want to take away from that too much. I used Stickles on the white border of the photo, the edge of the wings and on the exclamation mark. Oh and I so love the glimmer mist. It's so easy and fun to use :-)
This Christmas LO I used 2 pp's and put them on a vanilla coloured piece of Bazzill to frame them. Inked the edges of everything with Rangers Distress Fired Brick ink. This page is for our family album. I have actually scrapped pages for both the kids albums for last Christmas, they are the ones I submitted to CK mag in July and I still haven't heard anything. Wonder how long they take to let people know! It's a pretty long shot they will use mine, but worth a try. Will blog them once I know if they are interested or not.

Cardstock- Bazzill
Memories Mists - Bright Gold, Sparkling Silver

Random Photos of Maddison
I told you Maddison liked shoes didn't I?! Well the other night Jill came over for tea and Maddison discovered her "heels". So funny to watch, wish I had the video camera out. Complete and utter style huh!
But what's even funnier (well to me it is!) the other day she bought a pair of Aaron's Thomas undies to me and squealed and grunted which I interpreted to mean put them on her! :-) heehee Well she thought she was the cat's meow! LOL
Saturday afternoon Lyndon and I were lounging on the couches and Maddison was squealing repeatedly in her bedroom so after a bit thought I better check what she was up to! She had climbed up into the wardrobe, but couldn't get back down!

On another note ... I did this LO for the Moderators Challenge for September (A day in the life of ...) at Scrap-n-Crop. I've had these Heidi Swap fuzzy rubbons for a few months and hadn't used them, so opened them up and they are sooooo cool! My pic doesn't do them justice, but they are raised up and fuzzy, adds another dimension to your LO.
.
Also - check out Scrap-n-Crop's blog for their latest announcement ... I'm pretty excited about this! :-) heehe

And ... Kinda Sweet have got up on their blog the LO's I did for their Child's Play kit.

WOW ...
Val's kids were there and was so cool watching Aaron and Maddison playing with Becks and mess up Val's tidy displays!! Becks is 21 days older than Maddison and I like this photo ... Maddison has her hands and mouth stuffed with embossing powders and glitters and Becks is getting a basket for hers (so proper!) :-) Aaron was very curious about Bryant and spent a bit of time just watching him (with hands on hips!) when he was being fed.

Pink Pirate!!
I would have loved to have dressed Maddison up as a little pink pirate, but decided it was going to be too much effort. (Lazy I know!)
2 really simple ATC's

Tuesday
Aaron came in to our bed soon after Lyndon left and about 7.15am decided it was time to get up and tell the world about anything and everything! Sigh ... so of course Maddison was awake soon after! Little pets.
After lunch Maddison was sitting in a plastic toy container and Aaron pushed her and she toppled out face first onto the tiles ... very noisy and messy! Big tears, loud wails, lots of blood, a cut lip and a very fat lip! She's okay, but it didn't look that flash and then Aaron had the cheek to tell me to clean the floor because it was dirty! (Had a blood trail from when Maddison had run to me!)
Anyway she got her revenge later in the afternoon after she had a sleep. Grabbed his arm and popped one of his sunburn blisters. Owwwww ... that was a noisy affair too. After I sorted that out and had a good look decided I needed to take him to the Dr to get it checked in case he got an infection. Sigh ...
To cut a long story short ... the cleaner that was supposed to take Tess's place while she was away never contacted me but her cousin did! She was supposed to be here by 1.3opm today and arrived about 4.15pm! Got a bus and 2 taxis to get here??? Very strange. Anyway she did a good job and is fast at ironing :-) heehee. So because she was late and didn't leave till 7.30pm I couldn't go to the Dr's until then. We were at the Dr's for 2 hours!!!! It wasn't even busy, but by the time we got seen, had Aaron's arm cleaned and bandaged (thinks he's a real invalid now!) and waited for prescriptions, it was 9.40pm by the time we got home.
I had some play time today though :-) Been mucking about with the papers in the Child's Play kit from Kinda Sweet. I had made 10 ATC's and several cards and a book mark all from a piece of the Lollapalooza paper that I thought was in the kit but wasn't! (Duh!) Anyway got a LO finished today, will photograph that tomorrow, and in the mean time, here's the ATC's and cards etc. I made (not showing them all because some haven't made it to the recipient yet!).
If anyone wants to swap an ATC let me know :-) I have 8 left to swap :-)

Photos, Photos & More Photos!!!
So here's a snippet of what we saw & did (yeah - just a snippet only 29 photos! LOL)
On the drive there we past acres and acres of palm oil trees. This truck was loaded with the nuts from the palm trees. Next pic was a really nice stretch of straight road, big plantations each side. 3rd, 4th and 5th photos are from taken from this humongous bridge we crossed over and all we could see was palm plantations and water, and a few dwellings right on the banks of the river. (The water was filthy!)
