This & That on a Tuesday ...

Just some random things from today ...
.
Yesterday I made a batch of gingerbread men (there were about 36) ... tonight there are only 12 left!!!!! (Aaron & Maddison are the culprits! hehee)

View out our lounge window at 6pm tonight.
Aaron had a nasty fall in the playground at school today ... his teacher wrote me a note explaining what happened. It was about the 3rd thing Aaron told me about school when he got home (the first was he watched a video about a dog, second was he played with the marble run (what a surprise!), and third was he broke his back LOL). I took a picture after he'd had a bath tonight. Apparently they put arnica on it, so will be interesting to see how much more it bruises. Doesn't seem to be bothering him much, but it sure looks nasty.

This afternoon I managed to get these two cards finished ... I must say crafting with a little 3yr old girl standing beside me poking her head under my armpit so she can see what I am doing is VERY annoying! ;-) I gave her some things to make her own cards, but that didn't last very long! Sigh ... 2 cards like this would have normally taken me about 40 minutes to make ... now it's about 4 hours hahaa ... ahhh kids ... so distracting!! :-)

I am just waiting for Lyndon to get home now - he's been in Singapore for the day.
.
Thanks for visiting.

lovely cards......
yeah, kids they are distracting..and they want all those crafty things that are expensive. My little girl likes 3D dots a lot, I gave her the cheaper ones to stick, but she wanted the EK success ones....sigh

Those cards are soooooo cute! I love them! shame about Aaron 'breaking his back' - falling off the marble run????? It is awesome that he managed to soldier on - that Arnica sure is magic stuff!!!ROFL

ouch at the fall, I had a giggle at his description. Will be interesting to see how the arnica goes.I am looking at creating a arnica based balm for my own personal use.

Those cards are stunning Rachel, so much detail. Oh at yum gingerbread and I swear they must have had legs and walked off the baking tray.

yikes...that does look like a nasty fall... but I guess boys will be boys...they tend to take it easier as long as they are distracted by other "more" important things...LOL...hopefully the bruises will be gone soon.

those gingerbread men looks really yummy! I would hv loved to steal one or two too! ;)

love your cards, Rachel...i'm always interested in seeing how one image can be coloured differently and made into different cards! there are so many times I just end up colouring the same image the same way...

Your cards bring home to me how versatile stamps can be - same image but two colour palettes. Wish I was a stamper.
