SnC March Kit Reveal ...

Sorry this post is a bit of a photo overload! You have been warned!!!
.
This month Scrap-n-Crop had 2 types of kits to chose from one had papers in it from the "Been There Done That" collection and the other one had a dinosaur theme. Both the kits had lots in them and I must confess that I haven't really finished with the Dino one. I still have some papers left and I haven't even used the cute dino stamp that was in the kit! Hopefully this week I'll have some more to share.
.
Check the SnC Gallery and you can see what Sharmaine made as well. Also I've put descriptions on my ones as to what was in the kit that I used. Just to give you an idea of how far the kit goes.
.
So ... here's what I've done so far with the Dino kit - 2 LO's, 2 Cards, and a 4x4 mini album.

For this LO, I put the top little photo over the main one in that particular place mainly so I could cover up all the power points that were on the wall! They were really distracting. I'm not clever enough in Photoshop to fix that sort of thing yet!
Little mini album on "cousins" (and yes I fixed the "s"). This little book is for the kids to look through whenever they want so I made it really simple with not much to "pick" at. As you know Maddison is real good at picking and destroying things!! Hopefully they won't cause too much more damage to it.
The photos of the kids are in age order.

And yeah ... there's a blank page just waiting to be filled with another little cousin around the middle of the year :-) (nope, not a brother or sister ... a cousin! Just in case anyone asks!)

The Been There Done That kit I got had a beach theme, but what I really liked about it was all the papers were double sided which made it really versatile. I used ALL this kit up except for some of the fibres, ribbon and stickers and made 4 LO's and 9 cards :-) Oh and I used PageMap sketches for these 4 LO's.
.
Sorry this LO I photographed it crooked ... it's not like this in real life! The 'beach' alphas were cut from the patterned paper.
Braved the sewing machine again for this LO and love how it turned out. The little boat house embellishment was cut from patterned paper as well.

Papers didn't have to be used for a beach theme :-)

Was really glad of the sketch for this LO. It helped me use the patterned paper ... it was quite busy and I probably wouldn't have used it for a LO otherwise.
And the cards ... pretty self explanatory.
.
This one here I cut the alphas from patterned paper in the kit.

(REALLY wished I had inked the edges of the patterned paper on this one!! I usually do to be honest, but must have been in a hurry and forgot, glued it down and then ... bother it ... it was too late!) (I can see you shaking your head Amy!!) :-) hehehee
Stamped on one piece of Mica and overlaid it with another piece. Just trying something a bit different.
Used mica here too.

So there you have it. Thanks for looking.

Where do you find the time? Love all your cards but the birthday ones of the animals are very very fun. Glad you are well and on your toes. Maddison in school now. That must be really nice for you to have a bit of time. Still waiting to hear from the kindy so Graham can go. In the next6 months he will be off.
