Project Scrap Away

Okay my lovely Blog Readers ... I need your help!! PLEASE!

Challenge 8 for Scrap-n-Crop's Project Scrap Away is underway. They also have a "twist". I get points for this, so please help me out :-)

You need to leave a comment on my blog (so those lurkers out there ... leave me a comment cause you'll earn me a point! Thanks!).

Also ... I earn extra points if you mention my name and Project Scrap Away (PSA) on your blog. So if you could do a mention on your blog that you are following PSA and what I'm creating and do the linky thing on my name (which is Rachel and my blog address which is poppies73.blogspot.com) and the linky thing for PSA and then if you could please go to Project Scrap Away's blog and leave a comment on this post here. and just type Rachel's Friend with a link to your blog :-) THANKS HEAPS.

Also ... every one that leaves a post on this blog entry will go into a draw for a RAK from me ... it'll be a scrappy one unless I know you aren't into scrappy stuff ... and if that's the case it will be a real surprise!! :-)

So ... check out the pic below ... I had to go shopping for this challenge! hee hee Believe it or not I had NO black and white paper, the few pieces I had there were other colours in it, so last night we did a late stop at Val's (Scrap-n-Crop owner) to pick up my orders (yep I did two!!). Thanks Val :-) I think I got 1 (or in some cases 2) of every piece of black and white paper she had in stock :-) :-)

She's baffled at why I needed so much black and white paper ... but ahhhh she doesn't know what I am going to do with it!! :-) The 2 pieces on the right I can't use for this project as they are actually cream and black - that top one is flocked ... it's beautiful. But I am sure I will use them for something else though :-)

So I have my stash in piles and piles all around my craft space and really need to get started. My finished project looks terrific in my head!! The challenge will be to get it looking like that in real life!

Thanks for your help ... if you have any questions flick me an email or leave a comment and I'll get back to you. :-)

The flocky one is very heritage I feel. :) Or baroque something.

B& W with no colour! That sounds quite tricky - I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Will go and add a post to my sadly (this week) neglected blog! :)
