WOW WEE !!!! I was so excited to see the final challenge for Project Scrap Away. Such an awesome one.
"It all boils down to this! So for the final 2 weeks, contestants will be given 2 weeks to complete a collection of 5 projects...These will be on a thematic basis, for eg: If you were to do a wedding theme, using co-ordinating items, you can come up with an invitation card, party favours, a table centerpiece, a layout and perhaps a gift for the bride. At the end of this 2 weeks, we have a bevvy of celebrity scrapbookers to pick the OVERALL winner for PROJECT SCRAP-AWAY!!!"
I already know exactly what I am going to do, just have to decide on colours (I have a short list!!) and a theme. SO EXCITED!
I checked the PSA Blog here which was their first post and this is what's happening ... so all the other challenge entries we have submitted get looked at again too.
These 15 participants will be narrowed down to 3 finalists who will show their own line of projects from the entire competition including the grand challenge on our website on Week 13 of the competition. For the final challenge, participants will be given 2 weeks to complete their project. The final winner will be judged by the industry's best and will walk away with scrapbook products from our generous sponsors.
So here's a re-cap of what I have done in the last 12 weeks ...
Challenge 1 - inspiration from an advertisement for a LO
Challenge 2 - Use Rubbish to make your LO Challenge 3 - 70's projectChallenge 5 - LO with Words, Words & Words!
Challenge 6 - 4 x Coasters with Dots Challenge 7 - A LO about a Tragedy Challenge 8 - Black and White projectChallenge 10 - Cultural LO
Challenge 11 - Tool Challenge Challenge 12 - Use your Old Stash on LO or ProjectSo there you go. 3 months summed up in a matter of seconds.
Now ... I have a question for you. Do I have a style? You know with some people you can tell that it's their work. They have something they do that's in everything they create. Which is cool, I like that. But I don't think I have that something! Mine seems to be totally random! Is that a good thing or not? Ahh well ... who cares huh! :-) LOL
Okay off to do some tidying up and get Aaron out of his pj's! :-)
*Edited to add ... after looking at my work again I can see I like double LO's :-)*

Rach - you just have style - forget what kind!!!
It is so cool to see all your projects all layed out together - they are amazing.
Glad you are up and running for your final challenge. Absolutely cant wait to see it.
GO girl!!
Excellent that you are on to it for your last set of challenges!! can't wait to see what you come up with.
Your style ... yes, I think you have one, but, I think it is more about the way you do things, the finishes your prefer, the positioning of your photos, the lines your like etc - and all the things don't have to be there all the time - but, over a whole album or two - a lot.
Wow wow woh! Wonderful projects!
Wow, what a lot of time, effort and history in this blog entry!! Way to go girl keep up the good work. Love: K, M, C & E
Don't let the 'unknown' style get in the way of creating, I am the same and have no clue on the style thing lol I just do what I do :)
All the best for the creating, can't wait to see what you make!
The others have said it so well, stop thinking and trying to define it just scrap, just do what feels right. Well done on making the final three, no matter where you come you are a winner for getting in the top three.
