3 LO's for Scrappin Studio

Hi again, back with my last three LO's using Scrappin Studio's April City of Lights and Montmarte kits with bits and pieces from the Versailles kit as well.

I only have scraps of paper left and a few embellishments left from the City of Lights and Montmarte kits, but most of the papers still from the Versailles kit.  I have done 9 LO's, 1 card, 1 mini album (10 pages) and an altered box all out of mainly the first two kits :-)  They go a long way don't they!!  :-)

New Baby Doll LO - I had a real hard time choosing which side of the patterned paper to use here as the other size was a lovely dark woodgrain!  But in the end I decided to scrap this 5x7 photo of Maddison that I already had printed.  The cardstock base and thickers are from my stash, and the brown glittered ribbon is from a previous Studio Calico kit - the colour was perfect :-)  I used the backing sheet that the chipboard buttons and banner embellishments were attached to, to mount behind the tag as the shaped edge matched in with the patterned paper shape. I inked the edges of all patterned papers, cardstock and tag with antique linen distress ink.  I also used the same ink on the white thickers to make them blend in a bit.

Daffodils LO - Here I just used scalloped circle punch on all the scrap pieces of papers I had left, inked the edges with worn lipstick distress ink and added butterfly stickers, brads, buttons and twine.  Everything on this LO is from the kits.

I have a small collection of tissue tape - and the kits I got for April had another three rolls in them!   So I decided I would use them to create my own patterned paper.  I did add in the orange tape which is from an Amy Tangerine set (available at Scrappin Studio).  I just used plain white cardstock from my stash and folded the edges of tape over the cardstock rather than trim it off.

Here's the LO I made.  The orange cardstock is from my stash, twine, thickers and brad from the kits.

That's it from me for the April kits :-)  Hope you have had fun with them too.

Thanks for visiting and happy scrapping.
