Last month Jessy asked if anyone wanted to join her in a friendly challenge :-) So I put my hand up and she sent us this photo for inspiration. (Photo from the Lennoxx.)
.I used this sketch from PageMaps - one of the August sketches.
And here's my take.
Some new papers and some really old ones too (that blue floral is Anna Griffin from way way back!!). Another LO done for our holiday album. :-) There's a story behind the bling ... Maddison had been playing at my desk and had stuck them all on some scrap paper (I was just a little bit cross!). Anyway when I discovered they matched the colours for this challenge I salvaged them!! (Thank goodness for glossy accents - that's what I used to stick them down.)

lovely sunrise...really suits the combo..Orange always represents sun to me..moreover,,sunrise...is the early inspiration of the day!! love the outcome!

Hi Rachel, what a great interpretation of the inspiration photo :) I love that each scrap LO comes with a little story of its own! Those blings are the perfect final touch to a beautiful sunrise photo!

lovin' the orange here! i love scrapping with old stuff... makes you feel very accomplished, right? :D the doily on my layout is already that color :D
nothing wrong with mixing the old with the new ... and as you [we] keep being creative with the old ... we can get the new!!! Fab-u-lous layout too by the way.
