Valentine's Day Craft

Yesterday afternoon I spent time in Aaron's class making flowers with them for Valentine's Day. They also had snacks while watching a valentine themed Winnie the Pooh movie. I made cinnamon buns (in red paper cases) and jam drops and the other Mum who was doing it with me bought red juice and watermelon cut into heart shapes :-)

I couldn't find red doily's anywhere, so I ended up spraying them with a cranberry colourwash. Was a bit messy and they had to wait for them to dry, but they turned out cute. The other Mum helped them make the crepe paper ones. She also gave them bling to add to it and a scent to spray on them! Very flash :-) I used my Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves Sizzix die to cut out one of the leaves about 100 times, so they had leaves to add to the stems.
Here they all are bunched together after they had finished.
Thanks for visiting.

Those paper flowers are great, they look really flash! Great job, I am sure the kids had heaps of fun making them too.
